Daily Heli-Skiing

A day with High Mountain Heli-Skiing includes six heli runs (12,000 to 15,000 total vertical feet), a deli lunch and ground transportation to staging areas. On your day of heli-skiing you will meet at High Mountain's office, at 945 West Broadway in Jackson, ready to ski, at 8:30am. Office hours are 11:00-6:00pm daily. Powder skis (Rossignol S7 Barras) are available for rent right in the office and should be reserved the evening prior to your scheduled heli-day.

Terrain High Mountain’s 305,000-acre terrain contains a variety of open bowls, chutes, trees and glades. Ski all of the Snake River and Palisades Mountain Ranges and portions of the Teton, Gros Ventre and Hoback Ranges.

Skill Levels Accommodated Anyone going heli-skiing should be of an advanced to expert skiing ability, able to make good parallel turns. With the advancement of powder and fat skis, powder skiing experience is not completely necessary. Fat ski rentals (Rossignol S7 Barras) can easily be arranged right in the office and are always encouraged. Snowboarders are also welcome on heli-ski outings. They should be of advanced to expert ability, able to hold an edge on a traverse and carry their speed across any flat areas. The guide will always keep you informed of what is to be expected. If you are not sure, give them a call or stop by their office at 945 West Broadway in Jackson from 11:00-6:00pm during the winter season and ask.

About the Guides For over 30 years, High Mountain Heli-Ski guides have been taking skiers to some of the finest powder on the continent. High Mountain Heli-Skiing's staff of professional guides are trained in Outdoor Emergency Care as provided by the National Ski Patrol, CPR, avalanche hazard forecasting and mountain rescue. All are active mountaineers who know the terrain and snow pack intimately. Guide school refreshers are conducted annually. Guests enjoy skiing in small groups, one guide to five skiers. Let the guides with over 30 years of experience show you the adventure of helicopter skiing.
Guides Certified By Guides meet or exceed all standards outlined by the Heli-Ski US Association.
Photography Staff Your guide will be happy to assist you with your photographs.
Accommodations Deluxe accomodations are available through High Mountain's lodging service providers: Teton Mountain Lodge and The Inn at Jackson Hole, located at the base of the JH Mountain Resort in Teton Village; The Wyoming Inn in the town of Jackson, right across the street from the heli office.
Dining Jackson Hole and Teton Village boast a wide variety of fine local eating establishments.

Notes

Powder skis (Rossignol S7 Barras) are available for rent right in the office. You may reserve them when you make your heli-ski reservations or anytime prior to your reserved day.

Reservation Policy

Advanced Reservations: Advanced reservations with a deposit ($400 per day, per person) are required to secure a seat on your preferred day. Call (307) 733-3274 or stop by our Jackson office at 945 West Broadway. Full payment and any outstanding balance is collected on the day that you go heli-skiing. Any reservations made less than 14 days in advance will be charged the full amount for the day ($950/day, per person).

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and Obligations:

Cancellations made 14 days in advance of a reserved ski day will receive a complete refund less a $50 per person/per day administrative fee.

Any cancellations made less than 14 days in advance of a reserved ski day will result in loss of deposit ($400 per person/per day).

Any cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance of a reserved day will loose the full amount of the day ($950 per person). It is not the responsibility of HMH to remind you of your reservation. It is the responsibility of the guest to be on time (8:30am) on their reserved day. No credit will be issued in the event of a no-show.

Any requested changes to a reservation date, if feasible for the reservationists, will be charged a $50 per person/per day administrative fee.

If HMH is unable to deliver a reserved day for any reason, we will attempt to roll your reservation over to the next available day. If we are fully booked and are unable to accommodate you, a full refund will be given. You have no obligation in the event of a day cancelled by us due to weather.

Due to the fact that heli-skiing is very dependent on the weather, we sometimes get cut short by weather. In the event of a day cut short by weather, snow conditions or something beyond our control you will be charged as follows: 1 run - $350, 2 runs - $510, 3 runs - $650, 4 runs - $780, 5 runs - $880
