Accommodations
Griffin Lake Mountain Lodge is Eagle Pass Heliskiing's base of BC heli ski operations. The heli ski lodge is easily accessible, located 27 kilometers west of Revelstoke BC and under two hours drive from Kelowna or Kamloops airports. This luxurious and rustic lodge offers very comfortable accommodations with incredible food and guest services. Wayne and Heather Harvey are your friendly hosts at Griffin Lake. They are dedicated to the highest standards of guest services. The lodge has attained a “Canada Select” Four Star rating, indicating exceptional and superior quality in all areas of facilities and service.
The extensive use of wood including huge fir beams imparts an ambiance of relaxed hominess and restfulness. Each guest room has its own private ensuite bathroom, open beam ceilings, comfortable beds with duvets, and is decorated with a rustic luxury theme and tranquility in mind. To top it off, all but one of the rooms overlook the spectacular and breathtaking view of the lake and the snow-laden mountains. Some guests will stay in the lodge's two new guest cabins. These roomy cabins are brand new, very comfortable and only a few seconds walk from the main lodge.
Eagle Pass Heliskiing guests will have exclusive use of the lodge, enjoying the camaraderie of a dozen fellow skiers.
At Griffin Lake they do have communication with the outside world. There is phone and wireless internet service available.
Dining
Griffin Lake Lodge provides an excellent, healthy and hearty dining experience. Breakfast is usually buffet style with a wide variety of choices. Lunch in the field includes a variety of sandwiches and wraps, hot tea, soup and chocolate. The hearty dinner is usually a set menu.
Additional Activities
The City of Revelstoke, its attractions, and Revelstoke Mountain Resort are 20 minutes from the lodge.
