Deep In the Monashees
Eagle Pass Heliskiing is an exciting new company that is the culmination of seven years of dedicated hard work. We have exclusive use of over 1,000 square kilometers of prime heliskiing terrain in the Monashee Range. This range is world renown for its abundance of deep, dry powder snowfalls. It is also a famous ‘Mecca’ for its tree skiing; and Eagle Pass Heliskiing has an abundance of perfectly spaced tree skiing close to our lodging. We also have a wide variety of beautiful alpine bowls, steep chutes, and gentle glades. We strive to provide an epic and memorable experience in the mountains, with safety being our premier consideration.
| Small Groups of Four
Since the beginning, we have strived to develop the ultimate adventure in heliskiing. In our minds, this means skiing in small groups, while enjoying an exclusive and intimate lodging experience.
At Eagle Pass Heliskiing we only ski in small groups of four skiers, with a maximum total of 12 guests. This allows the guide a greater ability to match the ski program to the guest’s desires and abilities with the conditions, and enhances the overall level of the experience.
| Ease of Access
Our post and beam lodge is neatly tucked away at the end of a lake. A scenic backdrop of the rugged Monashee Mountains is what you will see as you look out onto the lake. With the highest level of service and attention to detail our true Canadian charm assures your every need will be taken care of. The lodge has a very relaxing and inviting feel, and yet has modern communications and is very easy to get to. We can pick you up from Kelowna International Airport in our luxury shuttle, and be serving you drinks by our outdoor hot tub within two hours.
| Aircraft
Eagle Pass Heliskiing uses powerful A Star helicopters from the locally based “Arrow Helicopters”. Our chief pilot has an impeccable safety record after flying over 16 years and 9,000 hours in the mountains of BC. Arrow Helicopter's indoor heated hanger is located only minutes away.
| Terrain
With an area 47 times larger than Vail, and a huge variety of terrain, we assure our 12 guests have fresh, untouched snow. We currently have identified over 100 runs, and we have only explored the closest areas of our exclusive area. There will be opportunities to explore and do exciting 1st descents for many years to come. Whether you’re a first time heliskiier, or adventurous expert, the terrain is here.
| The Snow
It is what hooks us all. It is difficult to explain, but for those that have experienced bottomless light fluff before, you realize what we are about. If there is anywhere in the world where the probability for hitting epic powder snow conditions is the greatest, it is here in the Monashees. That is why our terrain is surrounded by three of the largest helicopter operations in the world.
